President Danilo Medina inaugurated on Wednesday the International Medical Group, a medical center equipped with the highest standards of modern medicine, focused on health tourism.
The center, built at a cost of 80 million dollars, has a staff trained in the various specialties of medicine, as well as sophisticated equipment and latest technology that guarantee excellent results
“This makes the new healthcare center an effective reference for international medical tourism, so it will help meet the new goal of bringing 10 million tourists annually, which will contribute to strengthening the country’s economy, generating jobs, among other elements, “said Carlos Prato, president of the International Medical Group.
The new clinic has 40 beds, three operating rooms, an imaging center, a laboratory, an intensive care unit, rooms, an executive examination area, an analysis club, a sterilization area and a medical spa.
The center will offer services of the different medical specialties, among them plastic and reconstructive surgery, oncology and orthopedics.
